《晨曦中的女孩》劇情簡介
1918年，加拿大某村莊，小女孩奧若蕾（Marianne Fortier 飾）的母親瑪麗安（Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc 飾）感染肺結核，病入膏肓。她的父親（Serge Postigo 飾）非但沒有對妻子表現出應有的關心，反而和表妹（Stéphanie Lapointe 飾）勾搭成奸。不久，瑪麗安在憤怒和憂鬱中死去，父親旋即與表妹成親。
三個姐妹兄弟中，奧若蕾對父親和繼母尤其抵觸。父親忙於工作，對家事鮮少過問。而奧若蕾和繼母的矛盾則不斷加深，繼母從最初的體罰，逐漸演變成赤裸裸的虐待。嬌弱的小女孩命懸一線……
